On December 7th, more than fifteen members of the Savannah Board of Realtors spent their day doing yardwork for seniors! The realtors mowed the lawn, raked leaves, hauled out trash, trimmed bushes and planted flowers for two Meals on Wheels clients who live in Windsor Forrest. The realtors donated 90+ hours of "manpower" to these homes and the results were amazing. Both houses were completely transformed!
"It was fabulous what they did! They were just fabulous. They made the yard all nice and pretty... I'm so glad that they could come," said the mother of the first MOWs client. Her mother recently suffered a stroke and cannot take care of her yard on her own.
"They did a beautiful job! I can't thank them enough," said the second MOWs client.
This is not the first time that SABOR has helped out. Last year, they did an extensive yardwork project for seniors living in Ardsley Park.
Thank you so much SABOR for your efforts and your generocity during this holiday season! You all truly made a difference.
